Class Information

Fall Enrollment Eligibility- All participants in Learn to Swim must have Ramsey Memberships.

Be sure to attend a FREE Placement Day to determine the best class to fit you or your child!

Learn To Swim offers classes for children and adults of all abilities. Our lessons are based on the American Red Cross swimming program.

Youth Progressive Levels 1-6 help students learn to swim and be safe in, on and around water. Instructors teach a wide variety of strokes and introduce safety skills. Children must be comfortable in water without a parent and be able to follow directions. Classes are structured by skill level.

Adult lessons are available in three levels- beginner, intermediate and stroke analysis.

Pre-registration is required for all classes. Registration closes three business days before each class is to begin, except Private/Semi-Private lessons. All participants must be Ramsey Student Center members with a valid UGA ID card.

Please see Forms/Flyers (at left) for a printable version of the Class Schedule.
